17 for in ^aone hour such great wealth has been laid ^bwaste!’ And ^cevery shipmaster and every ^{▼▼Lit one who sails to a place}passenger and sailor, and all who ^{▼▼Lit work the sea}make their living by the sea, ^fstood at a distance, 18 and were ^gcrying out as they ^hsaw the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘ ⁱWhat city is like ^jthe great city?’ 19 And they threw ^kdust on their heads and were crying out, weeping and mourning, saying, ‘ ^lWoe, woe, the great city, in which all who had ships at sea ^mbecame rich from her prosperity, for in ⁿone hour she has been laid ^owaste!’
